Member of the Japanese Red Army was arrested in 1988 in New Jersey with bomb material.

This is another success story. Civilians at a New Jersey Rest-Stop noticed Kikumura acting suspiciously so they notified a State Trooper. Upon approaching, the Trooper noticed bomb-making material and dismantled fire extinguishers in the back seat.

It is believed that Kikumura was on his way to New York to conduct some bombings to coincide with a Presidential visit. Allegedly, Kikumura obtained his materials in Pennsylvania and transited the width of the state before being caught in New Jersey.

Kikumura is in Federal Prison.
