The Pennsylvania State Archives holds thousands of cubic feet of records relating to the railroad industry. These include privately acquired Manuscript Groups devoted to particular transportation and manufacturing compaines such as the Pennsylvania Railroad and the Baldwin Locomotive works, as well as Record Groups of state government agency documents relating to railroad regulation.
