Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program

The Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) is a commonwealth grant program administered by the Office of the Budget for the acquisition and construction of regional economic, cultural, civic and historical improvement projects. 


Corbett Administration Announces RACP Award
Governor Tom Corbett announced the awarding of 54 new RACP projects totaling nearly $125 million.  These projects are expected to retain or create more than 56,000 jobs in 28 counties across the Commonwealth.  Please

Be advised that projects that have previously received award letters dated prior to June 1, 2012, are NOT subject to new redesign procedures involving the selection criteria, submission of a Business Plan, or use of the revised June 2012 Application Handbook. All projects with a Grant Agreement in place or in receipt of an award letter prior to June 1, 2012, will continue to proceed through the RACP process as before.
