- I am looking at a blank page; or I only see a partial page; or my screen says "done" and there is nothing on the page. Or, I get "validation errors" when I enter information that I know is correct. What should I do?
This typically occurs when the user's browser (Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer) needs to be upgraded to a higher revision level. Free upgrades are available to users from our home page. After downloading an upgrade, please reboot your computer before continuing. Browser upgrades usually correct these problems.
To View your Internet Browser Version: Click on "Help", located on the web browser toolbar. Click "About Internet Explorer or Netscape".
Recommended Browsers: To take full advantage of this web site, it is recommended you use at least Internet Explorer 5.5 sp2 or Netscape 6.1 Netscape Communicator.

- I cannot see the full page on my screen. I have to scroll around, or I cannot see the scroll bars. What should I do?
The amount of the web page displayed may be affected by your computer's screen area setting. The screen area setting is the number of pixels that will be displayed on the screen is a ratio of height by width. To change your screen area setting, click on the "Start" button, scroll up the menu bar to "Settings". A new menu will appear to the right of 'Settings". Scroll over to "Control Panel". A new window will appear with a "Display" button. Double-click on display. This will open a second window with tabs at the top. Click on the "Settings" tab. In the lower right side of the window you will see the Screen Area indicator. Slide the screen area indicator to the right to make the screen display smaller, allowing more of the page to be displayed.

- I am in the middle of entering data into the Online Business Registration Interview (OBRI), and I received an error message that indicates that I do not have enough memory to complete the operation. What should I do?
Depending on individual computer configuration, the Random Access Memory (RAM) may not be large enough to handle multiple open applications. Please close all applications except the Online Business Registration Interview. This should free enough memory to complete the registration.

- I connect to the Internet using American Online (AOL). When I try to use the Online Business Registration Interview (OBRI), the pages do not fill. Why?
There are technical problems that occur when using AOL to complete the OBRI. Although AOL is the default web browser for subscribers, you may also use Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. To register a business using the OBRI, minimize the AOL screen on your computer and open either Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator

- I am using WebTV and cannot access the Online Business Registration Interview (OBRI), will WebTV work?
No, WebTV uses an older version of Internet Explorer. To use the OBRI you must open a version of Internet Explorer that is version 5.5 or higher.

- I do not know what browser version I am using, how can I find out?
Open your web browser. Click on the Help menu from the top toolbar. When the menu drops down, click on About.
