Online Training for Advocates
The Office of the Victim Advocate (OVA) is excited to announce a new training resource that is available online. OVA and the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence (PCADV) have partnered to provide a training that explains Pennsylvania’s Address Confidentiality Program (ACP). The training is interactive, provides an overview of the ACP, and has a resources section that provides additional information that supplements the training. The training provides a half hour of approved PCADV and PCCD training.
The training is available at the following website: http://lms.pcadv.net/moodle/ . Click on this site and set up a new account (if you don’t already have one). After the account is established, you will see a list of courses. You must take the two required courses for all users first. Once you have completed these two courses, you will be able to click on “Programs for Victims” and that will lead you to the Address Confidentiality Program training.
