Safety Program

Each agency must maintain an active workplace safety and health program that meets Labor and Industry and commonwealth requirements.   

Agency safety coordinators administer the overall workplace safety and health program and serve as the point of contact for all safety matters. They are also responsible for:

• Program Requirements: requirements, manual, protocols, and related policies including management directives
• Forms & Tools: accident investigation, program review, hazard identification, communication and more
• Data Collection & Reporting: data collection schedule, annual BWC reporting and safety loss data reports 
• Safety Coordinator Orientation Training: required training for new safety coordinators
