The Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission has undertaken an initial survey to identify historic twentieth century public schools statewide. This project documented public elementary and secondary school properties constructed between 1900 and 1969 that continue to function as educational facilities. Thirty-nine schools were documented throughout Pennsylvania. A summary report detailing the survey methodology and an overview of the data collected is available by clicking on the link below.
