Finding State Contracting Opportunities

You can find state contracting opportunities using a number of methods:

Go Online
The Commonwealth publishes all state contracting opportunities over $10,000 on the DGS website at www.emarketplace.state.pa.us. Click here  for detailed instructions.

Purchasing Offices
After the Department of General Services, purchasing agents handle most of the Commonwealth's purchases. They are also the primary source for bidding opportunities under $10,000. Click here to download a list of purchasing offices and tips on how to best use them.

Bureau of Contracts & Public Records
The Department of Treasury's Bureau of Contracts & Public Records (BCPR) maintains information on all previously awarded Commonwealth contracts over $5000. By using this information, vendors can learn which agencies have issued contracts in their area in the past, how often, when they expire, and more. Request a list of contracts in your area by visiting www.patreasury.org/eContracts.html.

Click here to learn how else BCPR services can benefit you.

Electronic Bid Notices
Vendors can sign up to receive electronic notices of Procurement Bid Opportunities through the Bureau of Procurement. Click here to learn more about BOP eAlerts or Contact Supplier Services at (717) 787-2199 or (717) 787-4705 for more information.
