Examination Information
Engineers and Land Surveyors
PLEASE NOTE: It is an applicant's responsibility to ensure they have reviewed the Engineer, Land Surveyor and Geologist Registration law to determine if they may have met the minimum requirements to qualify for approval to sit for an examination, prior to submitting an application.
All examination candidates must be approved to sit for the examination prior to registering, scheduling and submitting payment for an examination. Application, Examination and/or Scheduling Fees are not refundable OR transferable.

Candidates applying for approval to sit for the Fundamentals of Engineering Examination (FE) must submit a completed application AND Scheduling Form directly to PCS.
Candidates applying for approval to sit for the Principles and Practice of Engineering Examination (PE) must submit a completed application directly to PCS.
All Land Surveyor examination candidates, must submit the Scheduling Form ONLY to PCS. The separate Board application completed for Board review must be mailed directly to the Pennsylvania Board office, as instructed on the application.
Deadlines for submitting complete engineer and land surveyor examination applications:
July 1 (October Examination - Engineer and Land Surveyor) December 1 (April Examination - Engineer and Land Surveyor)
Your application is not considered complete until every required document and form has been received.

The Candidate Information Bulletin for geology examinations and the application for approval to sit for the ASBOG Practice of Geology (PG) examination can be downloaded from PCS at the following Web site: www.pcshq.com
Scheduling forms for the geology examinations will be provided to you if you receive approval to sit for an examination. Completed scheduling forms must be submitted directly to PCS by their scheduling deadline.
The application for approval to sit for an examination must be mailed directly to Pennsylvania Board Office.
Your complete application must be postmarked no later than the date below to be considered for the corresponding examination:
June 15 (October administration of the ASBOG Examinations - Geologist) November 15 (March administration of the ASBOG Examinations - Geologist)
