Taxes and Finances
Many of the services offered in Pennsylvania , such as public schools, safe highways, health care, and social services for low-income citizens, wouldn’t not be possible without taxes.
The Pennsylvania Department of Revenue is responsible for collecting state taxes from individuals and businesses. These are separate from the federal taxes you pay every year.
Pennsylvania also works to protect consumers in the financial marketplace, whether their money is in banking, investments or insurance, and to provide unbiased information about a variety of personal finance issues.
