A strategic goal of the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency and its Office of Criminal Justice System Improvements (OCJSI) is to increase public safety through the effective deployment of resources to support local justice information technology initiatives that hold promise for broader use. OCJSI supports two priority initiatives to pursue this goal:

• OCJSI partnerships with County Justice Advisory Boards (CJAB)
• Development of a strategic county based information exchange architecture through the County Justice and Public Safety Information Sharing (CJPSIS) program.
