Title I Schoolwide Programs

Title I Schoolwide Programs

In order for a school to implement a Title I Schoolwide Program, several criteria must be met:

  • The school must be eligible to participate in the Title I program within their LEA
  • The school must have at least 40% low income OR obtain an Ed Flex waiver of this requirement;

If you are unsure of one or more of these requirements and whether or not your school meets them, please contact a Regional Coordinator in the Division of Federal Programs for assistance.

In order to assist schools in the development of comprehensive, compliant and effective Title I Schoolwide Plans, the following documents and tools are made available:

Schoolwide Plan Template (Word) **Revised and Updated March 2014

Completed Title I Schoolwide Plans must be submitted to the Division of Federal Programsfor review and approval prior to the school implementing the plan.
