Community Services Unit:

The Pennsylvania State Police Public Relations Officer (PRO) is assigned to the Troop Public Relations Unit and is responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with law enforcement agencies, local public officials and community organizations to foster mutual respect and understanding within a State Police Troop or Station area.

The PRO makes presentations upon request to a wide variety of community organizations to foster an understanding of State Police operations and programs and also delivers presentations on a variety of safety issues to youth at all levels of public and private schools and to adults in local and civic organizations and companies.
