Bureau of Drug and Alcohol Programs, Division of Prevention - Provides for the development, oversight and management of substance abuse prevention.  Focus is on reducing risk factors associated with substance use and the development of healthy lifestyles that support individuals, communities, families and schools in being drug-free. Pennsylvania Child Death Review Team (CDR) - Formulates strategies to understand why children die and takes action to prevent child death in Pennsylvania. Division of School Health (DOSH) - Oversees the reimbursement of school health services and collects data from schools related to school health services regulated programs. This data includes information on the nature, time period and location of serious school injuries. Pennsylvania Office of Rural Health - Enhances the health status of rural Pennsylvanians through outreach, education, advocacy, applied research and special projects focused on small rural health organizations and the communities they serve. Pennsylvania Shaken Baby Syndrome Prevention and Awareness Program - Based at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, the PA SBS program serves as a resource for education and support in the prevention of infant abusive head injuries.

Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC - Provides education and resources to children, families and communities of south-west Pennsylvania with the goal of preventing injury and death to child and adolescents. Firearm & Injury Center at Penn (FICAP) - Stimulates firearm and injury research, supports efforts to translate research findings into practice, and broadly disseminated information to policymakers. Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physicians - The PAFP & PAFP Foundation (PAFP/F) assist family physicians in providing the highest quality care for their patients through education, advocacy and public health initiatives. PAFP represents more than 75 percent of all family physicians in Pennsylvania and is the third largest state chapter of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation - Establishes accreditation standards and promotes the advancement of trauma services.  The Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation is committed to the reduction of death and disability caused by trauma and the provision of expeditious, quality healthcare that is evidence-based.   Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect (SCAN) - Provides child abuse education to medical professionals (primary care providers, hospital staff, school nurses, EMS) and also distributes prevention materials through the American Academy of Pediatrics, PA Chapter.
