will organize, direct, plan and coordinate the strategic efforts of
employees in a survey unit. Duties include planning, organizing and
directing surveying activities; consulting with engineering employees,
right-of-way administrators, realtors, attorneys and the general public;
providing for training of staff; participating in field investigations;
attending meetings; providing for the relocation of public utility
facilities; approving/disapproving survey cost estimates and invoices; and
reviewing, sealing and signing survey plans.
