Opportunities The
Department of Military and Veterans Affairs currently has eight part-time vacancies for Installation Police
Officer, DMVA in Lebanon County. The work schedule involves rotating
shifts/rotating days off/variable work hours. (Part-time schedule)

Type
of Work You
will provide police services by protecting the property, grounds,
facilities, tenants, employees and the public at Fort Indiantown Gap,
Lebanon County. Work involves investigating crimes, suspected crimes, and
accidents; conducting police patrols; assisting visitors in finding
destinations; responding to routine and emergency calls for assistance;
issuing citations for vehicle code violations; writing reports of
incidents and investigations; and explaining to visitors and employees the
laws, rules, and regulations governing conduct at Fort Indiantown Gap.
Employees are sworn police officers and exercise the powers of
arrest.
Work is reviewed by a superior officer or administrative
superior through personal inspections and review of reports. |
