| Type of Work As a Wildlife Biologist 2, you will perform advanced professional wildlife management work in the scientific study of bird and mammal populations and their habitats. You will design and conduct field laboratory studies of the life history, ecology, population and habitat of birds and mammals; compile and analyze data using statistical software; and report findings and make recommendations for improving or controlling conditions which affect the statewide wildlife management program. You will provide information orally to hunters, professional organizations, conservation groups, landowners and other interested parties. | |||
| Location Biologists work from a home office, so the position would be located in the incumbent’s home county. However, the chosen candidate must be willing to relocate to Cameron, Centre, Clearfield, or Elk counties. Pennsylvania residency is waived for Wildlife Biologist 2 ONLY.
