| Employment Opportunities The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources currently has 14 vacancies for Equipment Operator B in the Bureau of State Parks and the Bureau of Forestry in the following counties: Centre, Clinton, Crawford, Lycoming, Somerset, Tioga, Union, and Westmoreland. Please note that when designating the type of employment sought on the application, it is imperative that applicants indicate seasonal availability. These positions generally work an 8 ½ month season from March through November. Most positions require that candidates have a commercial driver's license (CDL A or B) with no restrictions. | |||
| Type of Work You will operate and maintain trucks, buses and construction equipment, and perform general laboring duties. Equipment Operators A operate and maintain single-chassis trucks weighing between 10,001 and 32,000 pounds. You will also operate and maintain light/medium construction equipment such as rollers, back-hoes and front-loaders. Equipment Operators B operate and maintain single-chassis trucks and tractor-trailers with a gross vehicle weight of 32,001 pounds or more, and heavy construction equipment such as bulldozers and graders. | |||
