The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources has three openings for Lifeguard Supervisor. Opportunities are in the counties listed below.

Please note that when designating the type of employment sought on the application, it is imperative that applicants indicate seasonal availability.


Type of Work
Lifeguard Supervisors direct the activities of lifeguards at State parks; direct the enforcement of park rules and regulations; arrange work schedules; and perform lifeguard functions.

Candidates must possess a valid American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certificate; or a valid YMCA Lifeguard Training Certificate; and a valid American Red Cross Community First Aid and Safety Certificate; or any combination of valid certificates in standard first aid and adult, child and infant CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation).

Starting Salary

Lifeguard Supervisors earn a starting rate of $12.43/hour.


Benefits are NOT available for seasonal positions.


Pennsylvania residency is required at the time of application for these positions.
