| Type of Work Lifeguard Supervisors direct the activities of lifeguards at State parks; direct the enforcement of park rules and regulations; arrange work schedules; and perform lifeguard functions. Candidates must possess a valid American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certificate; or a valid YMCA Lifeguard Training Certificate; and a valid American Red Cross Community First Aid and Safety Certificate; or any combination of valid certificates in standard first aid and adult, child and infant CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation). | |||

| Starting Salary
Lifeguard Supervisors currently earn $11.54/hour through June 30, 2013. Lifeguard Supervisors will earn $11.60/hour, effective July 1, 2013. | |||
