MEDICARE OUTPATIENT DRUG BENEFIT CARDHOLDER INFORMATION

During the next three months, PACE will be mailing the accompanying letter to all Cardholders.

The Department of Aging recognizes that many PACE cardholders are worried that this new Medicare benefit will diminish their current PACE coverage. This letter is intended to assure PACE cardholders that the new Medicare outpatient benefit will assist, not replace, PACE.

Because of the relationship between many PACE cardholders and providers, PACE is sending you a copy of this letter for your information.

As more information about Medicare’s outpatient prescription drug benefit (previously referred to as Medicare Part D) becomes available, PACE will pass this information on to its cardholders and providers.
