As
Assistant Director of Laboratories, Health, and functioning as the
director in the director’s absence, you will plan, organize and develop
strategies for the expansion of laboratory capacity of the Department of
Health, Bureau of Laboratories; lead the development of research teams;
study laboratory design and operations issues for their applicability to
the Bureau of Laboratories, Health; develop strategies for laboratory
research; and provide expert counsel to the medical and laboratory
community. You will also coordinate the Bureau of Laboratories’
bioterrorism response with other state and federal agencies; investigate
the Bureau operations and data management systems; train staff; direct
safety programs; and supervise subordinate managers. |
