Internships provide students working on a graduate or undergraduate degree in health sciences with valuable experience working with public health professionals on current public health issues. Opportunities vary depending on area of student interest.
Requirements:
Location: Most internships are in the Harrisburg area, with the exception of the state laboratory which is located in Lionville (Chester County)
Time Frame: Start and end dates are flexible, but follow the traditional fall, spring, summer semesters
Salary: Interns may be paid as long as the program office has funding available. The pay rate for paid Public Health Interns is $11.43 per hour. Non-paid versus paid internship opportunities vary by semester.
