![]() | DESCRIPTION: A fast growing native oak that can reach 50 to 75 feet. Somewhat conical crown shape with horizontal inner branches and downward angling lower branches. A root system shallower than many oaks allows for easier transplanting. Prefers full sun and rich, acidic, well-drained soils. Biennial acorns are excellent for wildlife. SEEDLING SIZE: One-year-old seedlings, 6 to 16 inches. |
