Other Services Offered CCAC is the nation’s 16th largest multi-campus community college. With an annual enrollment of more than 70,000 credit and non-credit students, CCAC is also the largest provider of educational services in western Pennsylvania. CCAC is the most affordable accredited educational institution in Allegheny County. Accessible– No other educational institution has as many facilities in neighborhoods throughout the region. CCAC offers four campuses, six college centers, and Distance Education opportunities- more than 5,000 students currently take online courses. CCAC also offers several certificates and an associate’s degree that can be earned entirely via the Web.
Description CCAC’s Free GED Preparation and Transition Program provides an opportunity to re-engaging in your learning by preparing to earn your Secondary School Diploma (awarded by PA Department of Education upon passing the GED Test) and preparing for the next step – postsecondary education and/or the workforce. Students focus on building reading, listening, speaking, writing, math, life and workplace skills. An on-site student support specialist provides mentoring and coaching to assist students in exploring career development goals and locating available local resources.
