Private Industry Council’s (PIC) mission is to educate, encourage and empower family and individual development to create career enhancement opportunities through training and workforce development. PICs Adult Education classes include the following: • Transitions (to obtaining a GED, a job, or postsecondary education) • Adult Basic Education • Institutional • Workplace (Vocational and Academic skills for EMT Training) • Family Literacy (Parenting Education, Adult Education, Early Childhood Education, Interactive Literacy Activities) • Move Up (Vocational and Academic Skills Training including Introduction to Computers, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Financial Literacy, Telephone and Customer Service Skills, Introduction to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Pre-Nurse Aide Training Program, Food Safety and Eating Smart and Moving More, Math and Measurement) |
