Easing Transportation Burdens for Farmers
The Pennsylvania Vehicle Code has been a challenge for farmers who transport crops and animal byproducts, from field to field or field to farmstead, using large farm equipment. Governor Tom Corbett signed three bills in 2012 – acts 209, 174 and 173 – that update the transportation requirements and make it easier to be in the business of agriculture.
