Welcome to Comprehensive Planning...

A web-based framework for thoughtful data-driven and research-based district and school planning.

This planning framework incorporates many familiar processes found in the works of Dr. Victoria Bernhardt, W. Edwards Deming, and the Baldridge Criteria for Education, and was modeled on Pennsylvania's design for continuous school and district improvement planning.

Comprehensive Planning facilitates communication and collaboration, promotes shared practices and resources, and ensures that every stakeholder is working toward common goals. Additionally, Comprehensive Planning assists local education agencies (school districts, charter schools, area vocational technical schools/career and technical centers, and intermediate units) to create and manage a continuous, comprehensive plan to submit to the Department in order to maintain compliance with state and federal mandate.

The What, Why, Who & When tab provides more detail about the mandates, LEA, and submission timelines. For additional information on training and access to the eSP tool, select the How tab.
