Pennsylvania Comptroller Operations Receives GFOA Certificate of Achievement
Agency Recognized for Governmental Accountability, Transparency, Full Disclosure

Secretary of the Budget Charles B. Zogby recently announced the receipt of the Certificate of Achievement in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association for its comprehensive annual financial report.  This is the 26th year that the Pennsylvania Office of the Budget, Comptroller Operations has been recognized for outstanding, annual financial reporting.

“It is an honor to be recognized by GFOA,” Zogby said. “This is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting and is a testament to the work of Comptroller Operations to ensure the commonwealth’s commitment to government accountability, transparency and full disclosure when telling Pennsylvania’s story.”

The GFOA is a professional association serving approximately 17,500 local, state and federal finance agencies and professionals.
