NATURE OF WORK
You will manage an emergency operating center and coordinate with other county-wide emergency services. The center must be staffed 24 hours a day. You will also perform administrative duties related to the development of and accountability for procedures, policies and operations, and provide training to staff and other emergency-oriented groups.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

You must be willing to be "on-call" 24-hours, 7 days per week to work under stressful conditions caused by emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements
One year of experience in the development, coordination or promotion of emergency-related programs in disaster relief, public safety, emergency management or related emergency services in government, industry, education or the military; and 1 year of experience in employee training or teaching.

TESTING
You will be rated on your experience and training. Your score will be based on information you report on your application and application supplement.
You must provide complete and accurate information. Failure to do so may delay the processing of your application, or result in a lower-than-deserved score or disqualification.
If you take the test and want to take it again, you may be retested after 6 months from the date of your "Notice of Examination Results." A new application and application supplement are required for a retest.
If your name is on an eligible list for this job title and you take this test, your most recent examination result will be the only one counted.
TEST RESULTS
