NATURE OF WORK
You will perform professional administrative work reviewing medical evidence for disability claims and participating in disability determinations for the Bureau of Disability Determination, Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

You must be of good moral character and able to perform the essential functions of the job. Pennsylvania residency is currently waived for this job title.
Necessary Special Requirement
Possession of a license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as issued by the State Board of Medicine, or the State Board of Osteopathic Examiners.
Minimum Requirements
Three years of experience and/or residency training in the medical specialty or subspecialty practiced.
Clarification of Medical Specialty or Subspecialty Requirements
Professional medical experience in any setting or American Medical Association (AMA) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved residency in any specialty is acceptable.

Disability Physician Specialists 2 for the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry are employed in Bureau of Disability Determination Branch Offices located in Greensburg, Westmoreland County; Harrisburg, Dauphin County; and Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County. Physicians are employed on either a part-time or full-time basis.
Lists created by these tests will be used to fill future vacancies as they occur due to retirements, promotions, transfers, resignations and so forth.

TESTING
