NATURE OF WORK

 

You will develop statewide assessment instruments that measure student performance on Pennsylvania’s academic content standards in elementary and secondary schools.  You will work with educational advisory groups, conduct pilot studies, research current assessment practices, and review and analyze assessment data.  You will also conduct workshops and presentations to groups, organizations, and schools to clarify assessment practices and applications.

You must be willing to travel.  Travel expenses will be paid.

 

You must be a Pennsylvania resident, of good moral character and able to perform the essential functions of the job.

 

Minimum Requirements

Four years of professional experience in the field of education and a bachelor's degree supplemented by at least four courses in mathematics, measurement, or statistics; OR an equivalent combination of experience and training.

Clarification of Requirements
