NATURE OF WORK
You will conduct quality assurance reviews of administration, prevention, intervention, treatment and treatment-related county providers to ensure contractual compliance. Work includes monitoring subcontracts, performing on-site assessments, preparing reports, and reviewing and approving corrective action plans for contractors’ deficiencies, and making recommendations for continuous quality improvement. You will serve as a resource contact and provide advice to providers on fiscal, programmatic performance, contract compliance, quality care and other state requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

You must be willing to travel. Travel expenses will be paid.

Minimum Requirements
Two years of professional experience providing direct social services, case management services, program planning, program monitoring, program evaluation, allied health services, or quality assurance services in a social services agency; and a bachelor’s degree in the behavioral sciences, or public health or human services administration, or a closely related field. Graduate course work in the behavioral sciences, or public health or human services administration may be substituted for up to one year of the required experience; OR four years of professional experience providing direct social services, case management services, program planning, program monitoring, program evaluation, allied health services, or quality assurance services in a social services agency; and an associate’s degree including or supplemented by eighteen credits in the behavioral sciences, or public health or human services administration.

TESTING
The test will be administered on a computer. Information about computerized testing is available online at www.scsc.state.pa.us OR in paper form at any State Civil Service Commission office. You will have a maximum of 2 1/2 hours to complete the test.

The test will be administered in the Harrisburg, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh State Civil Service Commission offices, Monday through Friday.
The test will also be held approximately 10 days a month at additional test centers located in Allentown, Erie, Johnstown, Lock Haven, and Scranton. If you take the test and want to take it again, you may be retested after 6 months from the date of your “Notice of Examination Results.” A new application is required for a retest.
If this announcement does not produce enough names for a specific area, another test may be announced for that area only.
TEST RESULTS
Employment and promotion lists will be established. You will be notified in writing of your test results.
