Vehicle Auctions Open to the Public

Vehicle auctions are open to members of the general public, including dealers.  Attendance at an auction is limited to those who are at least of 18 years of age.

Employees (or their agents) of the Department of General Services and members of their families are prohibited from purchasing any vehicles at Commonwealth used vehicle auctions conducted by or on the behalf of the Department of General Services. Members of the immediate family include a spouse residing in the employee's household and minor, dependent children.  Employees (or their agents) of all other Commonwealth agencies and members of their immediate families are prohibited from purchasing vehicles at Commonwealth used vehicle auctions that were assigned to, or surplused by, their employing agency if the sale price exceeds $100.00. 

Location

The public is invited to attend an auction of used Commonwealth of Pennsylvania vehicles at the Manheim Central Penn Auto Auction located at 488 Firehouse Road, Grantville, PA  17028 (Interstate #81, Exit-80 Hershey/Grantville).  Attendance is limited to people 16 years of age and older.  Please no pets.

All auctions will begin at 10:00 am.  The auctions may be cancelled at the discretion of the Director, Bureau of Vehicle Management.

Date and Time

Registration opens at 8:00 A.M. - sales start at 10:00 A.M.  All vehicles will be released to the successful bidder by assigned registration numbers.  Registration closes at 12:00 noon.
