FY 2012-2013 PHMC Grant Program Update
Keystone Historic Preservation Program - Application Deadline March 1, 2013
The enacted Fiscal Year 2012-2013 Pennsylvania Commonwealth Budget maintained the Keystone Recreation, Park and Conservation Fund that provides funding for the Keystone Historic Preservation Grant Program. The Keystone Historic Preservation Grant program provides funding support for projects that identify, preserve, promote and protect historic and archaeological resources. The maximum grant award from PHMC to an organization is $25,000. Grants require a 50/50 CASH match. The application submission deadline is March 1, 2013. Museum Assistance Grant Program - Cancelled
The enacted Fiscal Year 2012-2013 Pennsylvania Commonwealth Budget did not provide funding for Museum Assistance Grant line item. The Museum Assistance grant program provided funding support for Pennsylvania's museums and historical organizations including General Operating Support for Museums and County Historical Societies, Statewide Organizations, Project Grants, Statewide Conferences, Historical Markers and Technical Assistance. An electronic grant application process is in place and applications may be transmitted directly to the Commission where they will be reviewed and processed electronically into the Commission's grants database. All applicants are required to use the electronic application process. Exceptions must be discussed and approved by the Commission.
