The enacted Fiscal Year 2013-2014 Pennsylvania Commonwealth Budget maintained the Keystone Recreation, Park and Conservation Fund that provides funding for the Keystone Historic Preservation Grant Program. The Keystone Historic Preservation Grant program provides funding support for projects that identify, preserve, promote and protect historic and archaeological resources. The maximum grant award from PHMC to an organization is $25,000 for project-focused activities and $50,000 for construction activities. Grants require a 50/50 CASH match. The application submission deadline is March 3, 2014. Museum Assistance Grant Program - Cancelled
The enacted Fiscal Year 2013-2014 Pennsylvania Commonwealth Budget did not provide funding for Museum Assistance Grant line item. The Museum Assistance grant program provided funding support for Pennsylvania's museums and historical organizations including General Operating Support for Museums and County Historical Societies, Statewide Organizations, Project Grants, Statewide Conferences, Historical Markers and Technical Assistance. Keystone Historic Preservation Grant Program
Certified Local Government Grant Program - Application Deadline EXTENDED to February 21, 2014. Due to numerous government closings the past several weeks as a result of inclement weather, the deadline is now 2/21/14. Please submit all application materials to firstname.lastname@example.org by 5:00 pm.
Funding under this program is limited to federally designated Certified Local Governments. There is only one type of grant.
- Matching 50/50
- Maximum Award $15,000. The Review Committee may, at its discretion, approve an award greater than $15,000.
Grants are available to support projects in the following categories:
- Design guidelines or design assistance
- National Register nominations
- Cultural resource surveys
- Public education
- Revitalization and reuse studies
- Program administration
