Liquor Enforcement Officer Trainee (LEOT) Testing Announcements


The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) entry-level law enforcement examination for the positions of Cadet and Liquor Enforcement Officer Trainee (LEOT) will be administered by the Pennsylvania State Civil Service Commission (SCSC) at its computer-based testing centers between August 4, 2014 and August 23, 2014. 


The application period associated with the Cadet/LEOT examination will close at 12:01 a.m., June 30, 2014.  Applications for the position of Cadet and/or LEOT that are received after 12:01 a.m., June 30, 2014 will be held on file for future examinations.  


On Friday, July 11, 2014, qualified applicants for the positions of PSP Cadet and LEOT will be notified, via email, with instructions on how to register with SCSC to take the entry-level law enforcement examination.  Others who attempt to register with SCSC who have not been pre-qualified by PSP will be denied. 


Since qualified candidates will receive instructions by email, it is important that contact information is current.  To update contact information, candidates may log back into the application using their Email Address and Password.
