The Independence Capital Access Network Fund (ICAN)
The ICAN Fund provides grants to small businesses with 100 employees or fewer to enable them to make workplace accommodations for employees with disabilities. The ICAN program is a joint effort between the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry and the Department of Community and Economic Development. Administered through Labor & Industry's Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR), the program provides reimbursement grants of up to 80% of the total cost -- up to $40,000 -- for small-business site modifications, specialized or adapted machinery, or specialized training. Applicants must meet specified guidelines and requirements.
