SWIF's New Prescription Drug Program

The State Workers' Insurance Fund (SWIF) is pleased to announce a change in our prescription drug program. Through our new service partnership with KeyScripts, LLC - a Pennsylvania-based workers’ compensation pharmacy benefit manager - we are making it easier than ever for injured workers to obtain prescription drugs for treatment of their work-related injuries.

KeyScripts offers a national network of nearly 60,000  pharmacies, including many of the leading retail chains. Injured workers whose claims have been accepted will receive a KeyScripts Prescription Benefit Card, which may be used to purchase prescriptions for accepted work injuries. The KeyScripts card allows the injured worker to promptly receive prescription refills with no out-of-pocket expense.  KeyScripts also offers convenient home delivery service for long-term prescriptions.  The KeyScripts Network also offers durable medical equipment, physical medicine, diagnostic testing and translation services.

Call KeyScripts at 1-866-446-2848 with questions, or to locate the KeyScripts Network pharmacy nearest you.

SWIF's New Preferred Provider Organization (PPO)

Today, more than ever, businesses must find ways to reduce operating expenses. In response, SWIF has developed programs to help employers manage the cost of their workers' compensation injuries. SWIF is pleased to announce our partnership with Hoover Rehabilitation Services, Inc., through which SWIF is able to offer access to a comprehensive Preferred Provider Organization. By utilizing medical providers who are part of the PPO on your Health Care Provider List (provider panel), employers will improve their ability to control the costs associated with workplace injuries.  All SWIF policyholders will soon receive information on these programs. To establish your panel now, call Hoover at 1-800-692-7294, or email hoover@hooverinc.com

SWIF Significantly Increases 21-Day Compliance
Compliance with the Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Act is a priority for the State Workers' Insurance Fund (SWIF), as evidenced by a dramatic increase in its compliance rate for accepting or denying claims.
