NOTICE OF FACT FINDER’S REPORT
||June 1, 2005
Secretary of the Board
Section 1122-A(c) of Act 88 of 1992 provides for the publication of the findings of fact and recommendations of appointed Fact Finders if one or both of the parties have rejected the recommendations within ten (10) days of the issuance of the report. This has not been construed as a requirement for legal advertising.
Fact Finder Dr. William Caldwell has issued a report in the matter of the employes of the Warren County School District.
The Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board has received official notice that the report has been accepted by the Warren County Education Association and rejected by the Warren County School District. However, as it had been determined during the consideration period that the salary schedule attached to the report did not accurately reflect the recommendation of the fact finder, Dr. Caldwell issued an amended report on May 31, 2005, incorporating a corrected salary schedule. The amended report is appended to the text of the fact finder’s report for purposes of their publication.
Section 1122-A (d) of Act 88 of 1992 provides that not less than five (5) days nor more than ten (10) days after the publication of the findings of fact and recommendations, the parties shall again inform the Board and each other whether they accept the recommendations of the Fact Finder.
Any questions relating to the fact finding procedure may be directed to the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board, 418 Labor and Industry Building, Seventh and Forster Streets, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania 17120, Telephone: (717) 783-6018.
