Fact Sheet       

The PA Prepared Learning Management System (LMS) is a web-based system for accessing online training programs and sharing information regarding bioterrorism and other public health and emergency response issues.  The LMS allows persons to complete online training, earn continuing professional accreditation, track progress, and share information in the convenience of their workplace or home.  Authorized individuals are given access through the URL www.paprepared.net.  LMS access is available 24/7 to registered users. 

 

Content

Resources and courses include public health preparedness, bioterrorism, smallpox, weapons of mass destruction, hospital preparedness, incident command system, National Incident Management System (NIMS), behavioral preparedness, response & recovery, and many more.  Also available are past presentations from the Department’s bi-annual Public Health Institutes.  LMS content is obtained from leading state and national experts and information can be shared among LMS users through the file exchange, discussion, and conferencing features.
