Health e-stats is an email-based bulletin produced by the Bureau of Health Statistics and Research in order to keep data users informed about updates to the Health Statistics Web pages.
 

Annual Ambulatory Surgery Center Reports, 2011-2012 – Facility level reports providing information on utilization, medical staff and personnel.

Behavioral Health Risks of Pennsylvania Adults - This latest report includes statistics on a wide variety of health risks for Pennsylvania and is based on the data collected through the 2011 Pennsylvania Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) survey.

Behavioral Health Risks for Local Areas - These latest reports contain a wide variety of health and health-related statistics for Pennsylvania’s six health districts and for Allegheny and Philadelphia counties based on the 2011 Pennsylvania BRFSS survey.

Cancer Facts and Figures for Pennsylvania 2012 - This informative brochure contains estimated projections for the number of cancer cases and deaths for 2012, screening data, trend analysis and a comparison to U.S. data.

Cancer Incidence and Mortality, Executive Summary, 2010 - Contains the most recent single-year cancer statistics summarized for incidence and mortality, including frequency counts and age-adjusted rates.

EpiQMS – The interactive health statistics web tool, Epidemiologic Query and Mapping System, has been updated with 2011 and 2009-2011 Behavior Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) data for the state and select regions.

Family Health Statistics for Pennsylvania and Counties, 2012 Report – This report shows state trends and county-level statistics for tracking progress in meeting Healthy People national objectives related to family health.

Healthy People – Healthy People 2020 (HP2020) is a set of goals and objectives with 10-year targets designed to guide national health promotion and disease prevention efforts in order to improve the health of all Americans.

Minority Health Disparity Reports - A summary of significantly higher rates for various health topics among Pennsylvania's minority races and ethnicities. Four topic areas have been updated: 2011 Adult Behavioral Health Risk Factors, 2010 Cancer Incidence, 2011 Population and 2010 Sexually Transmitted and Infectious Diseases.
