Health e-stats is an e-mail based bulletin produced by the Bureau of Health Statistics and Research in order to keep data users informed about updates to the Health Statistics Web pages.

Inside this issue you will find the following articles:

Cancer Standard Output Tables – The cancer incidence tables have been updated with 2010 data. The standard output tables are a large volume of all the latest available and historical annual and five-year cancer incidence and mortality statistics for the state, counties and municipalities by age, sex, race, primary site and stage.

County Injury Profiles – The 2009, 2010 and 2011 profiles have been updated. These reports summarize various injury statistics and include hospitalization expenses.

Death Statistics – A new version of the Death Statistics Web page has been produced. The new layout will allow users to quickly find the tables they need.

EpiQMS – Our interactive health statistics web tool, Epidemiologic Query and Mapping System, has been updated with 2011 Population data and 2010 Cancer Incidence statistics.

Marriage and Divorce Statistics – The 2011 marriage and divorce occurrence data for the state and counties have been released.

Pennsylvania Abortion Report 2011 and Maternal Death Report 2010 – These annual reports display abortion statistics for the state and counties, and maternal death statistics for the state.

Pocket Guide of Pennsylvania and County Health Statistics, 2012/2013 Edition – This one-stop resource for Pennsylvania health data includes over 5,000 numbers and rates, and folds into a pocket size pamphlet.
