Patrick M. Striggle
Director, Human Resource Office
Patrick M. Striggle was appointed Director of the Human Resource Office on July 28, 2007.
As director, Mr. Striggle is responsible for directing a fully functioning human resource program encompassing over 500 salaried and 300 per diem employees. Functional responsibilities include the labor relations program, classification and compensation, employee benefits, human resource systems, recruitment and placement, training and staff development, workforce planning, performance appraisal, and ADA.
Prior to his role as director, he served as the Department's Chief of Classification, Labor Relations and Recruitment from September 2004 to July 2007. Mr. Striggle began his Commonwealth career in 1998 in the inaugural class of the Personnel Analyst Trainee Program. Following the year-long human resources career development program, he served as a staff analyst with the Department of State Human Resource Office from June 1999 to September 2001.
In addition to serving with the Department of State, he was an analyst with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's Classification and Placement Division from September 2001 to September 2004.
Mr. Striggle earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the John L. Grove College of Business at Shippensburg University.
He resides in Lancaster County with his wife, Shannon, and their three sons.
