2009 Market Conduct Exams
The Bureau of Market Conduct expands the Department’s oversight of the insurance industry by reviewing company and producer operations to determine if they are in compliance with the law. The Bureau reviews data and other information and conducts comprehensive examinations of insurance companies’ records, files and practices to determine their compliance with   Pennsylvania’s insurance statutes and regulations in such areas like sales, advertising, claims payment, underwriting and rating.          
 
The Bureau of Market Conduct performs reviews and examinations. As an enhanced feature, concluded examinations are now listed alphabetically by entity or last name.
