Biomass Power is the use of domestic and sustainable resources to provide fuel, power and chemical needs from plant and plant derived materials. Examples include the production of biofuels such as ethanol and soy diesel from corn, grain or biomass residues. Biomass is only sustainable if the rate of production is in equilibrium with the rate of consumption.
