You can read about e-TIDES, the registration requirements, payment methods allowed, file upload features, and take a tour of the system prior to registering online at www.etides.state.pa.us
It’s safe. With built-in security measures, you know your information cannot be accessed over the Internet by anyone except the Department.
The site and your data are secured with SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) and 128-bit encryption.
You can register online to use e-TIDES.
You can allow multiple filers within your business or outside your business (i.e. accountant, payroll firm, etc.) to file returns and/or make payments for your business. You control the level of access of your filers.
It’s easy. The math is done for you.
You can file during the reporting period (April, July, October, January) when it’s convenient for you, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
You can file your return early and arrange to make your payment using electronic funds transfer anytime through the due date.
Pay electronically using either ACH Debit or ACH Credit.
You know your tax return was filed and received. You will get a separate confirmation from the Department of Labor and Industry for submitting your wage detail report, and your tax return with payment.
You can view your Internet filing history online. The system will keep a record of your returns and any payments made electronically.
There are no added costs for this service.
