Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling

The counseling component assists students to develop and reach their educational and personal goals. The Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor guides students through problem-solving and decision-making processes to increase self-advocacy skills and independence. Services are provided based on individual need and may include vocational guidance, individual and group counseling, referrals for therapeutic programming, case management and facilitation of multidisciplinary staffings.
