Act 147 Resolution Hearing Procedure for Bristol, Malvern, Philadelphia - Arch Street, Northeast Philadelphia and Upper Darby Offices |
Resolution hearings as defined by Act 147 are available in the Bristol, Malvern, Philadelphia - Arch Street Office, Northeast Philadelphia and Upper Darby offices, subject to the following requirements:
Resolution hearings are available at any time upon request of the parties or their attorneys and may be conducted by the assigned workers’ compensation judge or by another judge sitting in resolution court.
If the case is pending before a workers' compensation judge, the request may be directed to that judge or to the appropriate office below.
If the case is not pending before a workers' compensation judge, the request should be directed to:

Philadelphia, Arch Street - Contact Shannon Finnegan at (215) 560-2488 to request resolution court and hearing dates. Resolution court in the Arch Street office is available to parties who have cases listed in the Arch Street, Northeast Philadelphia, Upper Darby, Malvern and Bristol offices.

Northeast Philadelphia - Contact Donna Gordon at (215) 560-2125 to request resolution court and hearing dates. Resolution court in the Northeast Philadelphia office is available to parties who have cases listed at the Northeast Philadelphia, Arch Street and Upper Darby offices.

Upper Darby - Contact Barbara Lock at (610) 284-6913 to requst resolution court and available hearing dates. Resolution court in the Upper Darby office is available to parties who have cases listed in the Upper Darby, Arch Street and Northeast Philadelphia offices.
If any judge determines that he or she is unable to comply with any of the Act 147 requirements in a particular case, the judge manager will reassign the case to another judge.
Resolution court is held regularly in all offices.
The resolution court process used in the Philadelphia area meets all time requirements imposed by Act 147.
