Conservation Volunteer Program

The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources operates the Conservation Volunteer Program.  Older adults have the opportunity to volunteer in a state park or state forest to help build a trail, plant a flower garden, teach a group of students about wildlife or welcome visitors to the campground.

Your local state park or district forest office and ask for the Conservation Volunteer Coordinator or call toll free 1-888-727-2757 or submit an application on line at  the Conservation Volunteer Program website.
